westmorland gazette

The Westmorland Gazette newspaper was established in 1818 and 166 years later they decided they needed an editorial cartoonist. I’ve been there ever since  (1984, not 1818).

The front page cartoon covers a vast range of topics, from second homes to climate change. Each week I submit a range of ideas and these sketches often appear on my blog. The published cartoons are shown below.
