Whilst fires rage throughout the Mediterranean, due to climate collapse, the Gazette cartoonist is asked to do a cartoon about the local weather instead.
Here are some of the alternatives I offered, which were deemed to risk upsetting readers who had just booked a holiday abroad. My record for rejects is 12 but this one came close and got so near the deadline, Editorial had to hold the presses for an hour (a first for me).
